The club lucked-out this New Years Day and rode a 17 mile Fun-Filled course without any rain, even though the weather people forcasted for It.
Ron Hess and Pat Hill worked together to put on this traditional club event on the day, New Years, that was initiated when the Polka Dots 1st started back in 1954.
There were 32 paid entries, (some were "DIRT DIGGERS" members) which Sweetened the pot to $160.00 split 2-ways between Hi & Low hands.
Jim Piatt provided hot chili & wieners for everyone....thanks Jim!
Ron had emailed everyone saying the Ride would start at Hi-Noon, and as usual I showed up just as the Riders Meet was being given.....but not a Problem, as I intended to follow everyone taking video & stills along the way as you will see by the following link!
Thanks again to Mr. Hess for getting us back onto the traditional date and for laying out another fun "DOOR BELL DERBY"
