INJURY PICTURES HERE!

Thunderhill 2009 was a fast course with an 8-mile loop.  Many C-Riders did 6 loops.  Fairly easy and fast, but with some tricky hills and off-cambers.  But not as technical as most other cross-country races, and especially enduros.  But it was a BLAST!

I filmed the first 60 minutes of the race, and broke it down into six 10-minute clips.
Music was added to each clip.

If you put all the clips together in order, they would display 60 continuous minutes of racing.

I did ok in the holeshot (in Clip#1 of course), but a few fast guys passed me in the first few minutes, putting me in 7th out of 33 for most of the race in the C-Senior Plus (45 to 50) class. But as the race goes on, I get to pass some people too ;)

I would guess that the 2006 Honda CRF 250X I was on was doing at least 60mph in some sections, but that is just a guess.
Instead of tenderly going through the mud pile on the 2nd (4th Clip) and 3rd lap (6th Clip), I thought I would try hauling ass through it to pass riders, but the 2nd lap brought a mild crash, and the 3rd lap slammed me into the mud pretty good, totally mucking up my throttle side.  That mud was like cement, I realized too late.

In Clip #6, that guy in the yellow and red was putting on a great passing duel back and forth!  But about 10 seconds after the storage ran out on my disk, he crashed big time on the upcoming downhill.  I was pissed that didn't come out on the video, because it would have been the best footage!

Have fun!
DON'T FORGET TO MAKE YOUR MOVIE PLAYER ABOUT 1/4 SCREEN TO 1/8 SCREEN FOR BEST RESULTS.
WITH WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER, I KNOW YOU CAN DO THIS BY DRAGGING THE MOVIE PLAYER SCREEN FROM THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND CORNER WITH YOUR MOUSE.  THERE MAY BE ANOTHER WAY TO DO IT, AND I AM NOT SURE HOW OTHER MEDIA PLAYERS WORK.
A FULL SCREEN DISPLAY WILL PROBABLY LOOK VERY CHOPPY
.
