Cliff,

Here is a short write-up on the Jackhammer:

Well what can I say?  The Jackhammer had to be the dustiest enduro I have ever ridden, so bad that I gave it up at the half-way point.  One loop was more than enough for me, and I just wasn't having any fun at all.  I had to stop several times just to let the dust clear enough to see where the trail was, and once in the first couple of miles didn't stop soon enough and ended up in the bushes.  Mike Fallon was riding up on a B minute and said "What dust?", but back in the middle of the Cs I rarely had clean air for more than a few very short stretches.

Ernie and Hayden Florez were there too, and they toughed it out on a late C minute to finish with a couple of great scores.  Hayden took 1st in the C 201-250 2 or 4 Stroke class (trophy), Ernie got 3rd in the C Senior class (trophy), and Mike was 6th of 15 in the B Vets. My early exit put me 6th of 9 in the C Super Seniors.
